MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has affirmed that the government will spare no effort in fighting the coronavirus pandemic and will protect its citizens residents.
His Majesty’s statement comes after he met the Supreme Committee headed by His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi on Thursday.
“However, the efforts cannot achieve its purpose without the cooperation of all citizens and residents, and their commitment to the decisions, instructions implemented by the Supreme Committee, and they must ensure not to violate them,” Oman TV reported quoting His Majesty.

His Majesty donated OMR 10 million to fight the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
Oman on Thursday reported 10 new coronavirus cases and 23 recoveries. The increase brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 109.
