MUSCAT: As part of a precautionary measure to control the spread of coronavirus, the Ministry of Tourism has asked all hotels in the country to provide “free rooms” which will be at the disposal of Ministry of Health.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry said: “Within the framework of coordination with the Ministry of Health to support the efforts to reduce the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, The Ministry of Tourism invites owners of hotel establishments of various classifications in all governorates of the Sultanate to provide free hotel rooms which will under the supervision of MOH as a precautionary measure to control the spread of coronavirus,” the statement from Ministry of Tourism said.
“Accordingly, owners of hotel establishments are kindly requested to contribute to this national duty and to communicate with the team assigned through numbers 99076665،99762535,” the statement added.
