MUSCAT: Ministry of Health on Tuesday warned people against using ‘Air Doctor’ that claims as an effective product to fight bacteria and viruses.
In a statement issued online, MOH said “It is observed that a product under the name “Air Doctor” is being sold in the form of a card carrying medical claims that were not scientifically proven in terms of protection against bacteria and viruses transmitted through the air.” MOH said.
MOH said “the product is not approved by the Ministry or any of the international regulatory authorities, therefore it is not recommended to use it since there is no evidence to prove the mentioned claims.”
