MUSCAT: The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources has
has issued a decision to close all commercial shops in the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Earlier decision by Muscat Municipality
Earlier in the day, the Muscat Municipality has issued a similar circular asking all commercial shops in Muscat governorate to close with effective from today, March 23, 2020 until further notice.
“Muscat Municipality looks forward for everyone’s cooperation in this regard and to abide by these decisions and it will take necessary legal measures against violators,” the statement added.
