MUSCAT: A man was found dead in Wadi Kabara of the Ibri province, after his vehicle was swept away by flood waters following intensive rain on Sunday due to Al Rahma low-pressure trough across the country.
According to the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA), the search continues for another person who was in the car. However, PACDA has not revealed the nationalities of the two.
“Search teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance in Al-Dhahirah Governorate found the body of the person, and search is underway for the second person after their vehicle was drifted in the Wadi Kabara stream, in wilayat of Ibri last night,” PACDA said in a statement.
