MUSCAT: Legal action will be taken against those cafes that provide shisha, Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources said on Friday.
The decision comes after a directive from the Supreme Committee appointed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to tackle the spread of coronavirus.
“All licensed facilities that provided shisha, must refrain from providing them as of Sunday, March 15, 2020.”

“The Ministry will take legal measures against any facility that violates this decision,” the statement added.
