Muscat: National airline Oman Air has suspended all flights to and from Kuwait in an attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The decision comes after Kuwait suspended all flights to the country after 80 cases were reported in the country.
“The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in the State of Kuwait has suspended all commercial flights to and from Kuwait International Airport starting from 23:59 (Gulf Standard Time) on 13 March, 2020. As a result of this directive, Oman Air will suspend all flights between the State of Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman from 14 Marchb, 2020 until further notice.”

Oman Air had earlier suspended all flights to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
