MUSCAT: Firefighting teams managed to extinguish a massive fire in a building in Azaiba on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA), no injuries have been reported from the fire. “We would like to inform that the firefighting managed to control the fire without any injuries,” PACDA said.

Residents found several cars parked in front of the building up in flames. The blaze destroyed the cars and the building was damaged. However, there is still no word on the cause of the fire.

On Tuesday afternoon residents reported huge smoke of fire in Azaiba. “I saw a huge smoke from Royal Hospital. Roads are all blocked,” said a resident Manish Singh.
