MUSCAT: Oman Cultural Attache (CAO) in London has advised Omani students not to travel during the current period unless in cases of extreme cases as a precautions to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
On Monday, CAO issued a statement after some students contacted the Omani embassy in London expressing their desire to return to the Sultanate due to the fear of spreading coronavirus.
“We hope to follow the developments and instructions issued by the local authorities in the cities where you reside and not to travel during this period except in cases of extreme necessity,” the statement said.

“When studies are suspended in any institution, students ate advised to stay home instead of leaving the country,” the statement added.
