Muscat: The Ministry of Health is conducting a number of procedures at the Muscat International Airport.

They include filling out self-declaration forms. The health workers assess the form before immigration. Travellers from any of the COVID-19 endemic countries will be examined at the Health Surveillance Clinic in the arrivals area.

‘If the traveller shows any symptoms then he or she will be examined at the laboratory (by taking a swab).

“If the health condition does not require institutional healthcare, the sample will be taken to the Health Surveillance Clinic,’ the ministry stated.

Travellers coming from the endemic countries with symptoms will be briefed on home or institutional quarantine. A medical team is following up on all cases of quarantine.
