Muscat: Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Oman’s Minister of Health has confirmed that 1,320 people who came from coronavirus hit countries have been quarantined so far.
“We have so far quarantined 1,320 people and most of them are quarantined at their homes,” he said speaking to national television Oman TV.
On Saturday, Oman confirmed one among the six cases have recovered from the virus.
“All six cases had recently travelled to Iran. All the cases are in stable condition,” he said.

The Ministry according to Dr. Saidi, is in constant touch with the World Health Organization (WHO), adding that there have been many measures taken and programs put in place to avoid further spread of the virus in the country.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the country has transported more than 600 people who were stranded in Iran.
