Coronavirus: Embassy issues advisory to Indians living in Oman

Embassy of India on Saturday issued an advisory on coronavirus.

Muscat: The Indian embassy in Oman has advised its citizens to be cautious at all times following the coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Indian embassy asked citizens to avoid direct contact with anyone who has symptoms of cold or respiratory infection. The embassy also urged Indians in Oman to refrain from travelling to China, South Korea, Iran, Italy and Singapore. “If anyone has travelled fr China within the past 14 days or if anyone is in direct contact with a person who has visited China and suffers from chest infection needs to visit the airport health clinic or nearest health center in Oman,” the statement said.

Oman reported six cases of coronavirus on Thursday but Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed that one patient has been recovered while the other five are still under observation.
