MUSCAT: Pius Karanja has been crowned the men’s Muscat Marathon 2020 champion after finishing first in the 42km race in Muscat on Friday.
On Friday, in front of a cheering audience, Karanga took gold with a time of 2:19:4.
Omani runners Ali Al Badawi, Jihad Al Muharrami and Ibrahim Al Naabi also managed to win the first three spots for the half marathon for a distance of 21 km.
