MUSCAT : The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation in partnership with the ITHCA Group, along with support from the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, have signed contracts to kick off the initial phase of the digital platform for the national innovation system in Oman called “Oman Innovates.” Dr. Badr bin Ali Al Hinai and Dr. Badr bin Salim Al Manthari signed the agreements.

These projects will be managed by Digital Transformation Management Company (DTM), a wholly owned subsidiary of ITHCA Group. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) won the consulting study contract to provide an overview and analysis for the design and implementation needs of the project. Osos Company, together with their partner Liferay, secured the website development contract. “Moving Pictures” has been appointed to handle the marketing services for the “Oman Innovates” project. This platform aims to bring together all stakeholders of the national innovation system and align with the goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040. Its purpose is to support economic diversification through efficient services, guiding innovators from idea conception to realization, and fostering collaborations locally and globally to enhance Oman’s innovation ecosystem and positioning in the Global Innovation Index.
