Muscat – Having established its presence in the local industry for over 20 years, TECS, in collaboration with INTELEC, has enhanced its offerings with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art VFD and motor facility.
This facility is uniquely designed to support the in-country-value initiative and serves the critical needs of both the oil and gas and utility sectors in Oman.
The company’s new test field, designed and installed by its in-house team, is equipped to facilitate efficient planning and reduce waiting time, enabling the testing of VFD and motor combinations along with other system components under full load conditions up to 160kW.

The facility can accommodate special testing requirements, such as full load temperature rise, system efficiency, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) measurements, Overloads and Fault conditions.
Featuring multiple VFDs and load machines, the test field allows for quick and easy setups. The integration of a variety of mechanical couplings and robust cast iron foundation ensures that all mechanical system performance requirements are met during operations, thereby enhancing reliability and precision in testing outcomes.
The company invites public to take advantage of this landmark full-load test facility, independently constructed to bolster local industry capabilities and provide significant benefits to the region’s critical sectors.
