MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnership in promoting a strong savings culture in Oman, celebrated the latest edition of the Al Mazyona salary transfer prize draw at the head office of Oman Drydock Company at Duqm. The event was held in the presence of Haitham Al Taie, GM – Finance and Corporate Support, Oman Drydock Company, Abdullah Tamman Al Mashani, DGM – Institutional Sales and Product Development, Bank Muscat and other bank officials. A total of 20 lucky customers were rewarded in the draw and each winner will receive a fixed salary prize of RO 500 every month for a year.

Abdulla Juma Al Araimi, Regional Manager, North Sharqiyah, Bank Muscat, said: “In 2019, Al Mazyona enhanced the salary transfer scheme to double the number of winners with a prize of RO 500 paid to winners every month for a year. This year, the scheme introduced prizes for a new segment of customers drawing a salary above RO 1,000, in addition to customers drawing salary below RO 1,000. All customers who transfer their salary to the bank are eligible for the draw. In all, 20 customers are rewarded every month in the salary transfer scheme.”

 The 2019 scheme will soon culminate in a special end-of-year Al Mazyona savings prize draw, which will reward 54 lucky winners with high-value prizes ranging from RO 10,000 to RO 250,000. The end-of-year special draw offers over RO 1.5 million in prizes, including two special prizes of RO 250,000 each, two special prizes of RO 100,000 each reserved for Asalah Priority Banking customers and two special prizes of RO 50,000 each reserved for Al Jawhar customers. 

Apart from these mega prizes, Asalah Priority Banking customers are also in the running for ten prizes of RO 30,000 each, while Al Jawhar customers are eligible to win one of the 10 prizes of RO 20,000 each in the draw. Asalah Priority banking customers who maintain a minimum balance of RO 30,000 are eligible to participate in all Al Mazyona prize draws, in addition to exclusive draws earmarked for them. 

Al Jawhar Privilege Banking customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 10,000 in their savings accounts are eligible to participate in all the exclusive draws. The end-of-year draw will also offer prizes of RO 10,000 each to 28 regional winners. Asalah and al Jawhar customers can also participate in the year-end mega draws of RO 250,000 each for two winners, which is open to all customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 30,000.
