MUSCAT: Oman’s public revenue reached RO 6.602 billion by the end of the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 13% compared with the corresponding period of last year, the Oman News Agency reported.
The figures point to stronger government revenues during the first half of the year as the Sultanate continues to manage public finances amid changing global economic and energy market conditions.
Public expenditure also increased during the period, reaching about RO 6.619 billion by the end of the second quarter.

Spending was RO 521 million higher than during the corresponding period of 2025, representing an increase of 9%, according to the official data.
Based on the reported revenue and expenditure figures, Oman recorded a narrow fiscal deficit of about RO 17 million for the period.
