MUSCAT: Overnight rains in Muscat that continued till Friday morning, bought down the mercury. Moderate to heavy rain were reported in many parts of Oman including Muscat from Thursday evening till Friday morning.
According to the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, Muscat received the highest rainfall in a day. According to the data, Baushar received 46mm of rainfall while Muttrah received 35mm, while capital city Muscat received 30mm and Al Amerat received 27 mm.
