MUSCAT : His Excellency will deliver the Ministry’s statement, which will encompass 12 topics, including legislation and laws regulating the media sector in the Sultanate and Ministry’s efforts towards media training and development.

Additionally, attention will be directed towards examining the state of media across various governorates and assessing the level of media engagement with pertinent societal issues.

This public session is a part of the eighth regular session of the first annual term of the tenth legislative term (2023-2027). It serves as a platform for dialogue and discussion between governmental officials and representatives of the Shura Council, contributing to the ongoing discourse surrounding media regulation and development within the Sultanate.
