MUSCAT: Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has appointed Dr. Aflah bin Said Al Hadhrami as the company’s new Managing Director, marking him as the first Omani to hold this position.
“This historic step is a milestone in the company’s journey and highlights the Government’s confidence in national cadre in the energy sector,” PDO said in a statement.
“We extend our best wishes to Dr. Aflah in his new position. We are confident in his abilities and extensive experience and looking forward to him leading PDO towards achieving its purpose and strategic goals,” PDO added.
