Muscat: Heavy rains lashed many parts of Oman on Wednesday night. The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), has warned of the foggy conditions and rainy weekend in the Sultanate.
According to PACA, today (Thursday), the weather will be cloudy, and horizontal visibility will be lesser than 1000meters. “North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah and Muscat will have heavy to moderate rainfall accompanied with hail, thundershower, high waves and strong winds,” PACA said in a statement.
By Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with rainfall in parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar region before the air depression fades away.

PACA has also urged all to take necessary precautions during rainfall and flash floods and also to avoid any sea activities.
