MUSCAT : In line with its strong support to the communities it operates in, Renaissance Services has joined hands with Al Rahma Association for Motherhood and Child Welfare to distribute 1,000 food cartons for Ramadan. The initiative will provide significant support to social welfare families in the Governorate of Muscat during the Holy Month.
Volunteers from Renaissance Services and Al Rahma Association initiated the drive recently by distributing 35kg cartons containing a number of essential food items like rice, wheat, pulses, cooking oil, milk powder and sugar to social welfare families in Wadi Adai, Muttrah and Wadi Kabir. This endeavour is aimed at encouraging volunteering among employees, raising awareness about the benefits of giving back to society and creating a positive and fulfilling work environment. The campaign also seeks to promote Omani products as part of the nation’s long-term strategy of increasing In-Country Value (ICV) and sustainable development.
Speaking about the initiative, Mohana Prabhakar, Chief Communications and Corporate Affairs Officer, Renaissance Services, said, “We are delighted to partner with Al Rahma Association this Ramadan. CSR is a deeply entrenched Renaissance characteristic, and we hope that our contributions, along with other businesses, NGOs and individuals, will help those who are most in need.”
