MUSCAT – As per the statistics, Omani citizens accounted for the highest number of visitors (28,406), followed by tourists from Saudi Arabia (3,848), Kuwait (611), the United Arab Emirates (329), Bahrain (273), and Qatar (265).
The number of tourists from other Arab nationalities reached 3,027, while the number of visitors of foreign nationalities reached 42,275.
With the onset of Al Jabal Al Akhdar Festival from today, August 3, the Wilayat is expected to see a surge in the number of visitors and tourists.
