Muscat: The new edition of ‘Business Plus’ takes a panoramic view of the local and regional business environment, with the cover story highlighting Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel’s (JSIS) commitment to bolster Oman’s economic diversification plans though mega projects and sustainability measures.

JSIS’ CEO Harssha Shetty talks about the Company’s ongoing endeavours to meet the set targets and partner with the country in realizing the objectives of Vision 2040. He shares the Company’s core philosophy and its vision to place Oman on the global map of steel manufacturing.

Oman’s insurance sector is also under the spotlight in the magazine, with Addal Sarwar, Group Chief Personal Lines Officer of National Life and General Insurance Company (NLGIC), providing his take on the sector’s growth in the light of the mandatory health and motor insurance requirements.
