Muscat: Leading the Sultanate’s digital transformation, Ooredoo Oman’s Business App has been honoured with a prestigious Bronze award at the 14th Stevie International Business Awards. This is the latest in a string of accolades the company has received in acknowledgement of its pioneering role in enhancing the digital experience across Oman. Organisations from all over the world took part and the trophies will be officially presented at a Gala event in Vienna next month.

The Ooredoo Business App is the first of its kind in the Sultanate and the centerpiece of Ooredoo’s digitisation strategy. The app works on two levels – administrative or individual. Company telecoms admins have access to a vast range of options including management of bundles and add-ons, as well as the ability to bar/unbar telecom lines, whereas individual employees are able to view their own accounts, pay personal bills, top-up credit and add roaming services. Ooredoo also supports business customers with maximising their benefits on the App by running training events, meetings, and attending exhibitions to ensure full engagement with app users.

This will be the fifth Stevie Award the company has received, added to its growing list of awards, including Best Rebrand of a Digital Property from Transform MENA, Best Digital Brand Campaign from the International Business Magazine Awards, Best Digital Content and Best Operator Network from Telecoms World Middle East, and Best Customer Experience Transformation Strategy for Telecoms at Customer Experience Week Middle East.
