MUSCAT : Reaffirming its continued commitment to supporting Omani sports and strengthening fan engagement with the Oman National Football Team, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman and Main Sponsor of the National Football Team, continues to roll out a series of initiatives and activities accompanying the team’s participation in the Arabian Gulf Cup 27, As part of these efforts, the Bank is sponsoring a special fan experience at Active Oman, providing big screens that stream live matches of the tournament, which gives the fans the opportunity to watch the national team’s matches and enjoy the excitement of the tournament in an engaging atmosphere that brings football fans together.

The initiative reflects Bank Muscat’s efforts to create memorable experiences for supporters and encourage them to rally behind the national team throughout its Gulf Cup 27 journey. The event offers free entry, along with a range of engaging activities, entertainment experiences and daily prizes, creating an exciting environment that reflects the passion of Omani football fans and their strong support for the team.

The initiative comes at an exciting stage of the tournament as Oman continues its march after securing qualification for the semi-finals following a 3-1 victory over Kuwait in its final Group A match. The achievement has further strengthened the excitement surrounding the national team’s campaign and the support of Omani fans both at home and in Jeddah. 

The Active Oman fan experience forms part of a wider series of initiatives launched by Bank Muscat to celebrate and support the national team’s participation in Gulf Cup 27. Ahead of the tournament, Bank Muscat employees joined in bidding farewell to the players before their departure to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Bank also launched a special fan song performed by Omani singer Abdullah Al Buraiki, to inspire supporters, strengthen the connection between the fans and the team, and bring a distinct Omani identity to the tournament atmosphere. 

Through these initiatives, Bank Muscat seeks to further strengthen the connection between the national team and its supporters and make Oman’s participation in the Gulf Cup 27 a shared community experience. The initiatives also reflect the special place the Gulf Cup holds among Omani fans and highlight the important role of sport in promoting national pride, teamwork and community engagement.

Earlier this year, Bank Muscat announced its partnership with the Oman Football Association as the main sponsor of the Oman National Football Team, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to supporting the team across their various competitions and engagements. The partnership also reinforces Bank Muscat’s longstanding contribution to youth and sports and its efforts to strengthen collaboration with sporting institutions across the Sultanate.
