MUSCAT : The inspections are being carried out at tanker filling stations and affiliated facilities under the regulations issued through Resolution No. 31/2025, with the aim of ensuring water quality and supporting the continuity of safe water services.

As part of the inspection process, Nama Water Services teams will conduct field and visual checks of tankers, collect water samples and carry out on-site water quality tests. Samples will also be analysed at an accredited laboratory before an inspection certificate is issued free of charge.

Nama Water Services said the inspections are intended to help ensure the delivery of clean and safe water to homes and identify potential contamination in tanker tanks at an early stage, helping protect public health and safety.

The company urged water tanker owners and drivers to cooperate with authorised inspection teams and facilitate their work at inspection sites.
