MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik began a visit to a number of wilayats in Al Wusta and South Al Sharqiyah governorates on Thursday, the Oman News Agency (ONA) said.
The visit comes as part of His Majesty’s commitment to advancing development and modernisation programmes across Oman and ensuring the provision of development and social services in different parts of the country.
ONA said the visit also reflects efforts to harness the natural and tourism potential of wilayats in the two governorates and support their continued economic and social development.
