DUBAI : Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) said it has become the first stock exchange in the Middle East and North Africa to provide direct access to its live market data through artificial intelligence platforms.
The service operates through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which users can configure with compatible AI applications. According to ADX, the system is designed to make official exchange information easier to access without requiring specialist market terminals or complicated technical connections.
Once connected, investors can use natural-language prompts to retrieve market information, including market depth for individual stocks, bid and ask data, price-discovery signals and broader trading statistics.

The platform can also provide a breakdown of trading activity between retail and institutional investors, as well as between foreign and local investors. Institutional users will additionally be able to access order-book information and segmented market flows.
Financial information available through the service includes structured XBRL company disclosures, index constituents and related reference data.
While retail investors can use compatible AI platforms to access official ADX information, brokers, fintech companies, developers and research firms will be able to use the same infrastructure to create customised analytics platforms and AI-powered research tools.
Brokers, for example, could develop their own branded AI assistants using official market information supplied directly by ADX.
The exchange is offering four usage plans, starting with a free tier and extending to Dh49.99 per month. The plans vary according to usage limits, data-refresh frequency, access to historical information and the number of simultaneous connections allowed.
ADX said the model is aimed at widening access to reliable market information while providing different categories of investors and businesses with data services suited to their requirements.
