MUSCAT : Oman Air has warned that some of its flights are experiencing delays due to exceptional operating conditions and temporary restrictions affecting certain air routes.

In a travel advisory issued on Saturday, the national carrier said the disruptions have affected aircraft movements and the schedules of some flights across its network.

The airline said its operational teams are working around the clock to minimise the impact of the disruptions, maintain the continuity of operations and restore normal flight schedules as quickly as possible.

Passengers affected by schedule changes will be notified via WhatsApp, email or SMS, provided their contact details have been correctly updated in their bookings, Oman Air said.

The airline added that some passengers may also be rebooked on flights operated by other airlines where suitable alternatives are available, in an effort to reduce travel disruptions.

Oman Air urged travellers to ensure their contact information is up to date and to check the status of their flights through the airline’s official website before heading to the airport.

The carrier apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked passengers for their patience and understanding, saying it remains committed to limiting the impact of the disruptions on travellers.
