MUSCAT: The municipality said effective engineering supervision acts as a safety net for buildings and investments by ensuring proper workmanship, identifying potential problems early and reducing unnecessary costs.
It outlined four key benefits of engineering supervision, including quality assurance through verifying that construction materials meet approved specifications and preventing fraud or misuse of materials.
The municipality added that supervision helps enhance structural safety by detecting issues at an early stage, reducing the risk of future cracks, defects and structural failures.
