MUSCAT : Rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) responded to an emergency after receiving a report that a person had fallen in Wadi Jarziz in the Wilayat of Salalah.
The authority said rescue personnel successfully reached the injured individual, provided the necessary rescue assistance and safely evacuated the person from the site.
The injured person was then transferred to hospital to complete medical treatment, the CDAA said.

Following the operation, the authority urged visitors to Dhofar Governorate to adhere to safety guidelines, particularly while visiting valleys, mountains and other natural attractions during the Khareef season, to help prevent accidents.
