MANILA – This initiative is part of Oman’s efforts to develop its workforce recruitment system and elevate the efficiency and reliability of pre-travel procedures, safeguarding the interests of both workers and employers.
The inauguration was held under the joint auspices of His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and His Excellency Dr. Mahad bin Said Ba’owain, Minister of Labour, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
The chief guests toured the centre’s facilities, during which they inspected its equipment, work mechanisms, and transaction processing stages. They also listened to a briefing on work visa procedures, medical examinations, and the measures taken to protect personal data and documents.
The centre is the first integrated facility dedicated to serving Philippine citizens applying for work visas in the Sultanate of Oman, enabling the completion of visa procedures and medical examinations in a single location to save time and streamline procedures.
