MUSCAT – The discussions took place during a meeting between His Excellency Yaqoub bin Khalfan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for Fisheries, and His Excellency Bakary Yao Sangare, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad of the Republic of Niger.
The meeting reviewed avenues to strengthen bilateral cooperation in agriculture and water resources, including the use of modern agricultural technologies, improved water resource management, and promoting investment and innovation in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
Both sides highlighted the importance of boosting technical cooperation, investment partnerships and the exchange of experiences to support sustainable development and ensure the efficient use of natural resources.
