MUSCAT – During the meeting, His Excellency Pise interacted with women who had either left their employers’ households due to difficult circumstances or had been abandoned by their employers. He listened to their complaints and assured them that the Embassy’s Community Affairs team would work to facilitate an early resolution of their cases.
The Embassy of India in Muscat said it continues to provide free boarding and lodging to distressed Indian domestic workers while their cases are being addressed.
