Oman’s FSQC to begin licensing infant milk and dietary supplements from August 2

Oman’s Food Safety and Quality Centre (FSQC) will start accepting applications for licences covering dietary supplements, children’s foods, foods for special medical purposes, and infant and young child milk formulations from Sunday, August 2, 2026.

MUSCAT: The centre said the licensing service is available to food sector stakeholders, including producers, manufacturers, importers, companies and institutions involved in the food trade.

The categories covered under the new licence applications include infant and toddler milk formulas, foods for special medical uses, baby food products, and nutritional supplements. Applications can be submitted by email to Food.approval@mafwr.gov.om.
