MUSCAT : Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), through the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center, has advised motorists using the Adam–Thumrait Road to remain vigilant as active dust-raising winds are expected to affect the area.
According to the weather warning issued on July 17, the dusty conditions may be accompanied by thunderstorms and strong downdrafts on Friday, leading to reduced horizontal visibility and potentially hazardous driving conditions.
The authority added that the wind activity is expected to continue on Saturday and persist for several days, increasing the likelihood of poor visibility along the route.
