BANGKOK – In a statement issued on Tuesday, the embassy said it is closely monitoring developments related to the tragic incident and remains in contact with the relevant authorities.
According to the embassy, the majority of those affected are Thai nationals. It also noted that the fire occurred in a local residential neighbourhood, well away from the city’s tourist areas.
The Omani diplomatic mission extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished a swift recovery to those injured in the blaze.
