MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, to convey his heartfelt condolences and sympathy following the death of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
According to Oman TV, His Majesty expressed his sincere condolences and solidarity with the Qatari leadership and people over the passing of the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
His Majesty also extended his condolences to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar, praying that the deceased be granted eternal mercy and that his family be given patience and strength during this difficult time.
