DOHA — HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, visited Qatar on Monday at the head of a high-level Omani delegation to convey condolences on the death of former Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The delegation conveyed the condolences and sympathies of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Government and people of the Sultanate of Oman to Qatar’s leadership and people following the passing of Sheikh Hamad.
During the visit, the Omani delegation expressed solidarity with Qatar and prayed that the late Emir be granted eternal peace and that his family and the Qatari people be given patience and strength during this time of mourning.
