Muscat: The latest weather readings indicate that extreme heat persists across several governorates, with multiple locations recording temperatures well above 44°C, underscoring the intensity of Oman’s summer season.
After Al Rustaq topped the charts at 46.7°C, Al Amerat recorded 45.9°C, followed by Bidbid at 45.7°C, Al Awabi at 45.5°C, and Wadi Al Maawil and Sunaynah, both at 45.4°C.
Other areas also experienced intense heat, with Bushar and Nakhal each recording 45.2°C, Buraimi reaching 44.9°C, Hamra Ad Duru at 44.8°C, and Samail registering 44.5°C.
