MUSCAT : North Al Batinah Municipality has commenced asphalt paving works on the remaining internal roads in the Wilayat of Suwaiq as part of a wider project aimed at enhancing road infrastructure and improving connectivity within residential areas.
The works are currently underway in the Badaiwah area, where crews have begun paving roads that form part of the municipality’s plan to complete the internal road network and facilitate easier movement for residents and motorists.
According to the municipality, the project is designed to improve accessibility, support urban development and enhance the quality of infrastructure services across the wilayat. The initiative is also expected to contribute to safer and more efficient transportation within local communities.

The municipality said the roadworks are part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade public infrastructure and meet the growing needs of residents in North Al Batinah Governorate.
