MUSCAT — Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi have stressed the need to halt military escalation and pursue peaceful political solutions to ease regional tensions.
The two ministers made the remarks during a telephone call, according to Oman News Agency.
They underlined the importance of developing political solutions that take into account the interests of all parties, while ensuring freedom of navigation, the smooth movement of commercial vessels and the continued flow of energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz in line with international law.
