MUSCAT – The ROP’s Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations said the individual was apprehended in connection with the incident and that legal procedures have been completed ahead of further action by the competent authorities.

Following the arrest, the police urged business owners to strengthen security measures by installing surveillance cameras and alarm systems at commercial premises.

The ROP also advised shop and office owners against keeping cash on their premises, saying such precautions can help reduce the risk of theft and protect businesses from criminal activity.
