MUSCAT: According to a statement from the CPA, the unlicensed cosmetic facility was operating from an apartment in North Al Batinah Governorate, where procedures including Botox and filler injections were being carried out without the required approvals.
The authority’s office in Suwaiq said the apartment was being used to provide cosmetic services without obtaining the necessary licences from the competent authorities.
During the inspection, officials seized 304 items, including equipment and tools used in cosmetic procedures.
The authority said seizure reports were completed and the evidence was documented before the confiscated items were secured. The case is being referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
