MUSCAT — Oman Air said on Monday that flights to and from Khasab Airport in Musandam Governorate would resume once all technical and operational requirements are met, as the airline continues assessments to ensure safe operations on the route.

In a statement, the national carrier said it was conducting test flights to verify the readiness of the route and assess the efficiency of the technical flight path before restoring scheduled services.

The airline said passenger safety remained its top priority and that services would restart only after all necessary conditions had been satisfied.

Oman Air added that it was coordinating closely with the Musandam Governorate Office and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to implement the operational measures required for the resumption of flights.
