PARIS — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and French President Emmanuel Macron attended the Oman-France Business Forum in Paris on Monday, where the Omani leader highlighted the growing economic and investment partnership between the two countries and called for greater efforts to unlock new opportunities for joint ventures.
Speaking at the forum, His Majesty Sultan Haitham praised the progress achieved in bilateral economic relations across multiple sectors, stressing the importance of intensifying cooperation to identify new investment opportunities that can lead to promising projects and long-term partnerships.
The forum, held as part of the His Majesty the Sultan’s official visit to France, brought together business leaders, investors and senior officials from both countries to explore avenues for expanding trade and investment cooperation.

Several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed on the sidelines of the event between Omani and French institutions and companies. The deals covered a range of sectors including energy, industry, transport, space, artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, education and aviation.
