RABAT – The agreement was signed between Oman’s Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs and Morocco’s Ministry of Justice as part of efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and advance mutual interests in the legal and judicial sectors.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, while His Excellency Abdel Latif Wahbi, Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Morocco, signed on behalf of the Moroccan side.
The signing ceremony took place in Rabat in the presence of His Excellency Khalid bin Salem Bamkhalif, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Morocco, along with a number of officials from both countries.

Under the memorandum, the two sides will implement joint programmes aimed at training and qualifying lawyers, legal professionals and experts. The initiative seeks to enhance the capabilities of national cadres and improve the quality of judicial and legal services through the exchange of expertise, as well as the organisation of training programmes, seminars and specialised workshops.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Saidi said the memorandum provides a practical framework for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the legal and judicial fields.
He noted that the agreement opens new avenues for exchanging expertise, professional experiences and specialised knowledge in the training and qualification of legal professionals, contributing to the development of competencies, the enhancement of judicial and legal services, and the achievement of shared interests between the two brotherly nations.
On the sidelines of the visit, His Excellency Dr. Al-Saidi held a series of meetings with senior officials in Morocco’s judicial sector, including His Excellency Mohamed Abdel Nabawi, President Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, and His Excellency Hicham Belawi, Public Prosecutor.
The meetings reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in legal and judicial matters, as well as opportunities to develop joint programmes that serve the mutual interests of Oman and Morocco.
