Muscat: Issued on June 23, 2026, corresponding to 8 Muharram 1448 AH, the Royal Decree stipulates that the attached amendments shall be incorporated into the existing Penal Code.
Under Article 2 of the decree, Article 146 of the Labour Law has been repealed. The decree also abolishes any provisions that contradict or conflict with the newly introduced amendments.
