MUSCAT – The municipality said the upcoming season forms part of a broader vision to enhance the identity of tourism sites in Dhofar Governorate and deliver high-quality, world-class programmes that highlight the region’s natural and cultural diversity while enriching visitor experiences.
This season will include a wide range of activities spanning heritage, sports and entertainment, alongside international performances designed to attract both domestic and international tourists during the Khareef period.
Key highlights include the second edition of the Dhofar International Theatre Festival and the inaugural Dhofar International Sculpture Festival, in addition to symphonic and choral performances, stand-up comedy shows and various sporting and cultural events.

His Excellency the Chairman of Dhofar Municipality said the season reflects efforts to develop tourism identity and present diverse programmes that showcase Dhofar’s unique assets and strengthen its global cultural presence.
